Story Overview

After your death and the murder of your family, you find yourself reborn in a layer of the afterlife which is between both Heaven and Hell. No longer human, you are now part of an ancient race of powerful magic-users and warriors. You only remember the final moments of your past life, and the undying love that you felt for your family. You seek a way to be reunited with them in Heaven, and to uncover the mysteries of this new world, and of your past life.

The Guardians, a race of angel-like beings which police this new world, struggle to protect the gates which connect the realms. This layer of the afterlife is supposed to be a neutral ground, but the forces of Hell are trying to overtake it.  Because you are a new soul with the potential to become a great warrior, and the capacity to wield the power of the elements, The Guardians now seek your help. Only by proving yourself in this  afterlife can you be forgiven for your sins and join your family in Heaven. This will be no easy task and will require you to travel to the farthest reaches and deepest depths of this new world. You will face many great evils and many fearsome foes. Only by withstanding these grueling trials will you be given a second chance, and an opportunity to pass through the fabled Gate of Redemption!
