What is Gate of Redemption?

Yes. Yes, it is. It will remain free to play as long as it is practical.

What do I need in order to run Gate of Redemption?

Any computer with a modern graphics card and the Unity Web Player should be able to run the game. You can download the web player here. The game is best played using the Mozilla Firefox browser.

When will the game be complete?

The game was put online as soon as it was playable, and will continue to be updated with new versions until it is complete. The development of the game will be an ongoing process, with new content and features added on a regular basis. Keep checking back regularly and sharing your encouragement and feedback on the forums! The game is scheduled to be complete in mid to late 2010.

Who created the game?

Me! David Gabriel Abraham. I initially created the game and accompanying website during one semester at Northeastern University, and I am going to continue working on the game as a thesis project. I did not, however, create every single asset within the game, but purchased a number of them from various artists using my own money.  I am always looking for additional user contributions, ideas, and feedback. Such contributions could include 3D character models, art assets, scripts, sounds, or straight up money donations! I do this for my own enjoyment, but any contributions are greatly appreciated.

What is the rating of this game?

The game does not and probably will not have any official rating, but it will likely be the equivalent of a Mature rated title and will contain blood, gore and mature themes and situations.
